General Rules and Regulation

Keeping in view the aims and aspirations of Shaswat Institute of Teacher's Education certain rules and regulation have been framed to be strictly followed by the students. These rules have been formulated not to bind the students within the premises but to make them understand the value and standard of discipline, which, when, followed meticulously by the students, help them to emerge into a more determined, matured and knowledgeable individual. A full hearted support from our students and guardians are thus solicited.

  1. Students shall strictly comply with the rules and regulations of the college issued from time to time relating to their studies, examinations, conduct and discipline.
  2. The students, who secure admission on the basis of false certificate / marks sheet or on the basis of any misrepresentation of facts or illegal means, shall be summarily cancelled and all fees paid by him/ her shall be forfeited. Legal action shall also be taken against them.
  3. Application accompanied with requisite documents/ enclosure received after the last date shall be summarily rejected.
  4. No refund of fees will be made on withdrawal of admission under any circumstances.
  5. In case the candidate fails to submit the required documents, admission shall be treated as cancelled and no request for refund of fess will be entertained under any circumstances.
  6. If the applicant is employed, employers no objection certificate with proof of two years leave must be submitted during the time of admission
  7. Students can avail SITE's facilities only after the course commences and till the course is completed.
  8. Students are liable to security checks on entry or exit from the college premises.
  9. SITE will not be responsible for any loss of belongings left unattended by the students at the college premises.
  10. Intake of any sort of intoxicating substance is strictly prohibited. Chewing of Paan/ Gutka/ Chewing Gum etc. is also prohibited.
  11. A students has to ensure at least 75% attendance for attaining eligibility for appearing at the university examination.
  12. A medical certificate will be required if there are more than three days consecutive absence owing to illness.
  13. All SITE properties have to be handled with care help to maintain the premises neat and tidy. Any damage or pilferage caused to STTE properties by any student will be deducted from the Caution Deposit Money.
  14. Students should strictly adhere to instructions regarding entry/exit regulations, parking of vehicles etc.
  15. Students are supposed to attend the class in proper uniform suited for a gentle man/ woman.
  16. Male students must have short and properly groomed hair, clean and well trimmed nails. They should attend classes every day with a clean shave and polished shoe.
  17. Female sludents have properIy groomed hair, clean & well trimmed nail polish. Perfumes should not be used while attending theory or practical classes.
  18. During College hours wearing the college Identity Card is compulsory .
  19. These rules come into effect immediately and equally apply on all students of SITE.
  20. SITE holds the rights to introduce, alter, amend or change only or all the rules from time to time if found necessary.
  21. Interpretation of these rules will be made by the designated persons of SITE and shall be final and binding on all students.
  22. Students shall submil aU types of sessional report in Lime . Olherwise SITE will not be responsible for certification.
  23. For any legal dispute the jurisdiction will be at Ranchi Court only.
  24. In case of any types of examination / interview student must have to come with photocopy of call letter/interview letter. Then only they can get leave otherwise candidate can't absent.
  25. Without any prior information if student will absent three days, they must have to come with medical certificate / parent approved letter.
  26. Without any information if student will absent seven days, then they must have to complete re-admission process.
  27. Without any information if students will absent 15 days, then they may be terminated.
  28. With reference of Rule 24,25,26&27 if student will not noticed to college office, then they will be considered self terminated candidate.
  29. In case of misconduct and violation of college norms, students may fetch disciplinary action leading to discontinuance.
  30. Ragging is banned in SITE and any one indulging in ragging process is likely to be punished appropriately.
  31. No students should invite any person for any function or dialogue in the College without the prior permission of the Principal.
  32. All the students must attend all College function as cultural programmes, seminars, debates, picnics, community services, exposure programme, educational tours etc. and participate in co-curricular activities organized by the college.
  33. Mode of submission of Fees
    Candidate should deposit the prescribed fee at the time of admission through Cash or Demand Draft/ Bankers Cheque/ Bank Pay Order only issued by any bank drawn in favor of SHASWAT INSTITUTE OF TEACHER'S EDUCATION payable at Ranchi
